Residents of the Lymington area will remember this restaurant as Towles, but is now run by Paul and Julie Brooker.

We visited at lunch time on Monday 16th July and they were doing very good business.  This was probably down to a very reasonably priced Carvery - 2 courses for £9.95 and 3 courses for £11.95.  There was an extensive choice menu but we all decided on the Carvery.  Our starter was a seafood salad and brown bread.  It was an ample portion but tasted too "pickled" for us and the bread never bread came.  Better for our figures!  Two of us chose a piece of lamb, beef and turkey and one had just lamb.  It was all OK but the lamb just came out on top.  Good roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy.  The wine of the month was a Chablis and at £15 a bottle very good.  We had coffee  instead of a pudding and whilst I paid the bill the smoker of the party went outside into a very nice courtyard area specially for smokers.  Several tables under an enormous umbrella with heaters and lots of very colourful tubs of flowers.

Access is very easy for wheelchairs and with their own large car park and loos all one level, this is certainly a good venue for persons of a certain age!  The service was friendly, the surroundings were fine we had an enjoyable lunch.
