November 2004  Just heard now under new owner ship, they no longer do Manic Monday, no idea of the standards now.

Have visited this lovely old English pub on several occasions and have always been really impressed with the food.  We have always been on what they call "Manic Monday"( Monday Lunch), three delicious courses for £8.00 which is amazing value.  I particularly enjoy the cold buffet starter which has an incredible variety of dishes to choose from including a whole fresh salmon, very yummy!  Last time I was there I discovered that you can just have the buffet for, I think, £5.00, you can eat as much as you like and this is available any lunch time.  Unfortunately it is awhile since I was there but you can check the details on their web site www.thebarfordinn.co.uk . (NB Jan 2004, web page doesn't seem to be working)  I would advise a very early arrival for Manic Monday or to book.

It is very near to the Wilton Factory Outlet shopping complex so combine the two, eating and shopping, what more could anyone want?!!

Revisited March 2003 by J.I.  Still wonderful food & value but the Manic Monday lunch is now £9.
