What does Swisher do?

We are a specialist hygiene and washroom sanitation company and we use a process used by no other UK company.  It is a total washroom solution at the core of which is an industrial strength washroom deep cleaning process; but it is a cleaning service with a twist as we deep clean and then we maintain it on a weekly service basis so that the deep clean lasts longer. 

We need only visit once a week as we use a product which is unique to Swisher namely a germicidal seal which locks in the deep clean for up to 7 days.  Then we return to refresh the clean and reapply the seal.  So long as the seal is intact, the deep clean can last almost indefinitely. 

An area treated by Swisher is not only thoroughly clean and fully hygienic but it feels clean to the touch and smells fresh, day after day, week after week.  The waxy consistency of the seal means that washrooms can be spotless for longer and the chrome, stainless steel, glass, and porcelain can look immaculate for days on end.  A Swisher sealed area looks like it has just been cleaned - even if it hasn’t.  Not only that, but the properties of the seal ensure that between visits lime scale, bacteria and germs and uric acid (the source of that unpleasant washroom aroma!) can not settle and never builds up. 

Swisher technicians work hard to create pristine fixtures and fittings to be proud of.  A Swishered washroom is distinctive and impressive.  Our service technicians (the Swisher term for our loo cleaners!) get quite a kick out of knowing that their hard work can be appreciated by any washroom user, what ever time of day or night they might visit.  

Since the finished product looks as good after 6 days as it did on day one, it is perhaps not surprising that everyone at Swisher HQ is rather passionate about our service. 

And another thing, contrary to what many might think, far from feeling threatened by a Swisher technician’s arrival on the scene, almost invariably, in house cleaners welcome them with open arms.  They are delighted when we take over the worst part of their job and make their day to day washroom cleaning just a matter of a quick spruce up and a damp sponge wipe round to remove hair and drips.

It sounds expensive.  Admittedly, there is a cost but effectively, the service funds itself.

Whilst we charge £4 plus vat per fixture per week – a fixture being a sink, or a urinal or a toilet etc – the effect of the service is such that substantial savings can be made and these can be used to fund the service.  In many cases our clients’ find that, their investment in the one off deep clean aside, in fact the impact on their financial position is minimal and often neutral.  LWL Privilege Card holders could have a special rate of £3.50 plus vat per fixture.

We refocus the existing spend and reduce the spend on items like washroom cleaning chemicals and equipment and we cut the time spent cleaning the washrooms day to day quite dramatically.   

Not only that but the seal extends the life of the porcelain fixtures and the chrome and stainless steel fittings as it protects them from daily wear and tear and surface scratches.  

The installation of the Swisher urinal system with the water saving controller also cuts down the water used for urinal flushing by as much as 90% and over a year this can be quite a saving.  It is also an eco friendly measure in these times of water shortages!  Normally this is £180 plus vat but LWL Privilege Card holders could buy this for £120 plus vat.  

In addition, since the Swisher process and the Swisher periodic drain clear treatments (which are included as part of the service) tackle the cause of blockages at source, there is no build up of uric salt or lime scale and no need for expensive external drain clearance treatments.
