Revisited Feb.2006
Although the menu hasn't changed for the Sunday
lunch Buffet I'm pleased to say it is as good as always with yummy food
and friendly service. We enjoyed the mix of 8 starters, 8 main dishes
& 4 desserts all for £10.90 plus lashings of Chinese tea.
They now have a Buffet from Sunday to
Wednesday evenings with an enormous selection of dishes so suggest you
have a good appetite if you want to try 13 appetisers, 5 soups, 19 main dishes
etc etc. You order from their menu and they serve you for as long as
you can keep eating!! All for £14.95 a person. They suggest booking
ahead.
Update Jan 2004...They now have a web site www.southgardenrestaurant.co.uk
all the details are on there!
Visited November 2002 & many many other times! We have already
mentioned it in Ancient History!
As a regular customer to this Chinese
restaurant - I have always had excellent friendly service and good
food. The Sunday buffet is a must. Value for money so make sure
you don't have breakfast as you can eat as much as you wish - and the dishes
are continuously replenished as the need arises. As this is a fairly small
family run restaurant, booking is definitely recommended.
Cost with out drinks £ £
Yummy factor 9/10 - I can't fault it
