Typical "olde worlde" English pub, oak beams etc.
Visited for Sunday lunch, VERY busy! We were very impressed with the staff's friendliness & enthusiasm. In fact one of them had agreed to squeeze us in when we phoned as, at first, we were told they were fully booked. What a great asset she must be for the management!
We all chose Sunday roast, 1 pork & 2 lamb. The roast was acceptable, plenty of meat, & served with loads of fresh vegetables including enormous roast potatoes. We were all stuffed! Would definitely re visit!
Cost, with a bottle of house wine £ £, a bargain!!
Yummy factor 8/10 & some of that is for the friendly welcome.
