Typical pub with the restaurant at the back. As it has a good reputation in the area it is worth booking for larger parties. We were 16 & so I wont describe every individual choice! The portions were generous for both starters & main courses. The plates were red hot & lots of potatoes & veggies in serving dishes to help your self. I started with melon with raspberry coulis, followed by poached salmon with prawns in a white wine sauce. Only 2 out of 16 had pud, we were too full! There were no complaints so assume everyone happy. Staff friendly, excellent low & therefore flattering lighting!!
