Update October 2006

Revisited this Restaurant earlier this month to find the set menu of three courses is now £19.95, but still great value.  Great atmosphere and friendly staff and the food was really good too.  This is a well supported venue for the jazz lovers of the area and although you have to be a member for the Concord, anyone can visit the Mould Fig.  Ours was a lunchtime occasion but for lovers of live music there is always something happening.  Check their site for details.    Review SM  £££££. Still 7/10.

Revisited June 2005

Super new website since our last visit so all details/menus on there.  Update on Moldy Fig -  Visited at lunchtime, you must book!  Non Members can dine at lunchtimes and Wednesday and Sunday evenings, but suggest you check first.  The Concorde is in the middle of a refurb and looking good.  Moldy Fig has been extended but has not lost it's lunchtime atmosphere.

The lunch menu is changed weekly and there is a three course inclusive menu of £18.95 per head.  Lunch is served between 11.30 and 2.30pm  Monday- Friday.  We all enjoyed our meal except for one whose Rib Eye was not good but when discussed with the waitress was immediately asked if anything else was required and was deducted from our bill.  So with this in mind I have upgraded to 7/10.  Reported by SM.

Visited October 2002

Visited the Moldy Fig wine bar before enjoying a performance by Georgie Fame in the main club.  You do not have to be a club member to use the wine bar.

You order your food at the bar & then find a table.

The menu was interesting including fish & vegetarian dishes.  The four of us were very boring & all chose Rib Eye Steaks.  We all ordered med/rare but two were well done which was a shame as the quality of the meat was excellent.  We enjoyed a bottle of house red.

Cost £ £

Yummy Factor 6/10

Report S A

The higher the "Yummy" factor, the better the food & service.  The higher the number of £ signs the more expensive.  ( Roughly one £ sign = £5 per head )
