If you want a quick no frills lunch then this will suit.  Usual pub style, order & pay for food at the bar.  They were busy but didn't think it was necessary to be barked at by the bartender ( I am sure it is non PC to refer to her as a barmaid!) that all food will be an half an hour!

Very reasonable prices & obviously popular amongst the mature set as special prices for Senior Citizens.  We only had baguettes, bacon & stilton, & a jacket potato filled with chilli & cheese.  All very tasty but I had the homemade apple pie & custard to follow.  It was tasteless & the custard very watery.  Made me wonder what all the other cooked dishes were like!  My friends had an obviously frozen/micro waved dessert called Chocolate Puddle Pudding, very chocolaty, wish I had chosen it!

Had two spritzers, & a soft drink.
