This is a great pub for a snack lunch.  Excellent  service as well.  I phoned to check that there were no problems for wheel chair access.  When we arrived they had reserved us a table in a very convenient situation for my friends wheelchair.  They had already removed the extra chair at the table which made life easier for us.

We only had Subs but they were delicious.  Three of us had Steak, Onions & Sautéed Mushrooms.  The steaks were done exactly as we had ordered them!  The other member of our party had a Cheddar & Ham Melt.  We were all very pleased.

They were very happy to run a tab and the staff were all very helpful & pleasant.  The menu is varied with lots of different types of meals..... Grills, platters to share, traditional favourites such as sausage & mash, and snacks.  We will definitely go again!

The higher the "Yummy" factor, the better the food & service.  The higher the number of £ signs the more expensive.  ( Roughly one £ sign = £5 per head )
