LA TASCA IS A TASTE OF SPAIN ON ENGLAND'S SOUTH COAST! GREAT VIEWS OVER PORTSMOUTH HARBOUR. Lovely prawns Piri Piri, small portions as one would expect at a tapas bar, but all the better as you can taste more dishes! Reasonably priced house wine. Can't wait to go again. Easy parking & also accessible by boat as there is a mooring pontoon. Worth a visit!
Cost £ £
Yummy factor 7/10

Returned full of anticipation in July 2001, what a mistake! I know we arrived mid afternoon and they were in the middle of a staff change of shift but the service was terrible! Food not up to standard of last visit. They didn't have any of the wine we ordered & this was after having made several different choices, they were out of stock of everything. A great shame, so
Yummy factor now 3/10 SEE BELOW !

Must in fairness add that I have spoken to other friends who have visited late summer and they were very pleased. It's obviously somewhere " you take your chances" !! C.J.
Very pleased to say that S.A. went again in Jan 2002 and was as pleased as on first visit so back to 7/10!!!
