We were using The Times vouchers (Yes it's that time of year again!) and had amazing value for money.

It was Wednesday lunch time and very busy, so good atmosphere, obviously a popular venue.

Several of us started with Insalata Caprese (tomato & mozzarella cheese salad) and one had Funghi Al'aglio (garlic mushrooms). both very good.  One had Penne Vegetarianna but the rest of us struck gold by choosing Brasato (braised knuckle of lamb) served with garnish of salad and sauté potatoes. Absolutely delicious!  All large portions.  Reviewer (piggy CJ) had toffee crunch ice cream, yum yum, the more figure conscious skinny SM, had strawberries, sans la crème which were very tasty.  As usual we drank House White, quite gluggable.

Cost: Because of vouchers £5 per head for 2 courses  ( they normally do 2 course lunch menu for £6)
