At last we have found a venue in Petersfield to tell you about! Three of us were very pleased we followed up a recommendation. From the outside The Kitchen has the appearance of the Grade 2 listed building it is so therefore it is a surprise to find a very delightful modern and buzzy restaurant inside with a state of the art open kitchen, see above.
As you enter there is a bar area but we were shown straight to our table by the lovely French owner Natalie. It was busy, always a good sign, so recommend booking. We enjoyed white wine spritzers whilst studying the menus. These plus lots of information about The Kitchen and any current offers are all on Natalie's excellent web site.
We chose our starters form the A la Carte menu and our mains from the Lunch menu.

We were all delighted with our food, delicious flavours and stylish presentation. Our veggie was particularly impressed with the varied choice she had, including plenty of fresh fish on the A la Carte Menu.
The Kitchen is definitely recommended, we would love to revisit soon and preferably on a Wednesday when it is market day, we did not have time to explore it! Their opening times are on their web site.
