Marlborough is a lovely country town for a visit. The day we were there, Wednesday, was market day, so we enjoyed the shopping too. Our lunch at The Ivy House was just a snack of various Ciabatta rolls from the Bar menu. I chose The Greek & my friends, The Club & The Atlantic. Good value in a quaint old hotel. All the details are on their web site.
We left enough room for tea in a delicious cake shop just along the road later! A great place for a day out & a change of scene from our familiar surroundings in Hampshire!
