| We were staying at Warners, Bembridge for the weekend and strolled along to this famous pub nearby. It was voted IOW Pub of the year 2010 in the Good Pub Guide! Situated on the coast it enjoys sea views over Bembridge Ledge. They have an extensive menu with seafood being a specialty. Cosy traditional beamed interior and booking is advisable, although we did manage to find a table. We only needed a snack as we were on half board at Warners! From the snack menu the crab sandwiches are £8.00, although a bit expensive there was plenty of crab and served with salad garnish. The thing that impressed us most was the service and returning the next day for just a drink the barman remembered what we had the day before! Could it have been the way I asked for our G & T's to be served?? Regular readers of the site know about our preference!! Worth a visit if you are in the area, particularly in the summer for outside eating and fab views! Cost ££ (Warners was very good too!) | Ladies Who Lunch Scoring:Quality of food Variety of menu Staff and service Ambience, setting and decor Value for Money
