Verveine, formerly Monks, in Milford on Sea is about to open on Friday 12th February as a brand new Fish Market/Restaurant in time for Valentine's 2010!

Freshness and seasonality will be the two main factors for both the fish market and the restaurant.

They will also be doing cookery courses!

We are very excited about this news as owners Jon & Stacey Crouch used to own one of our favourite restaurants Wistaria in Lymington; we are looking forward to visiting their new venture!  They are now in partnership with their creative chef David Wykes also ex Wistaria.

This new restaurant offers a unique combination of local, fine dining along with fresh fish and seafood from their traditional fishmongers which is at the front of the premises. Expect modern, stylish British cooking with everything made in house, including ingredients like Home smoked bacon, home made pasta, breads and ice cream. Open, Lunch and Dinner Wednesday – Saturday.
