Check out their website for the extensive menus, offers, opening hours etc. We were 6 on a "girls" Christmas get-together! We decided not to have the Christmas menu and went for the offer of 2 courses for £8 available Mon-Fri! There is a very wide choice and on the whole our scampi and chips with mushy peas, steak and ale pie, fish and chips, cauliflower cheese flan and salad were all reasonable portions and not bad "pub grub". The fish pie was disappointing - the mash was powdered and it contained only 3 small pieces of salmon however, the rest of our choices were fine. We knew we were not in for a gourmet evening, it was more for the chat and wine! Good Merlot for £5.95!! Very friendly staff and atmosphere, it is a family pub but only 1 child and 1 baby the night we were there. For cheap and cheerful grub this place certainly suited us. The loos are acceptable and disabled persons are catered for. There is a car park and outside decking area. Sorry no photos but you all know what frozen scampi and chips etc. look like!
