| CJ and SM enjoyed Sunday lunch here with friends early in December. It was packed so we advise booking! This is not surprising as the decor is very smart, definitely restaurant not pub, yet the prices are very reasonable and represent great value for money. 1 course, £11.95, 2 for £13.95 and 3 for £15.95. Order before 7.00pm from Monday to Friday or throughout lunch service and choose any two courses from their promotional menu for just £12.00. We had drinks in the bar whilst deciding on our choices from an interesting menu. |

| For starters... Poached Red Wine Fig served with Stilton, Palma Ham & Walnut Salad, Goat's Cheese Bruschetta with Pear & Walnut with beetroot oil and Paprika Spiced Baby Squid with Garlic Aioli. There are three choices of roast on a Sunday, Loin of Pork, Sirloin of Beef & Leg of English Lamb. All Roasts are served with Yorkshire pudding, Duck Fat Roasted potatoes, Panache of Vegetables and Traditional Gravy. My pork was a liitle dry but everyone else was happy with their meat. Portions were generous and well served and presented in a pleasing atmosphere.
