LWL Silver Award - Awarded August 2011 - Cost £££

 Revisited August 2011 This time it was 4 of us who visited for lunch on a very hot day; so hot we had to sit inside as no umbrellas on the tables outside! Again we really enjoyed the food and it was such excellent value at £7.50 for 2 courses (3 for £10!). I enjoyed Smoked Duck salad and, for the price, an enormous juicy Rump Steak which they were very happy to serve with salad instead of chips. Unsurprisingly they were very busy and not everyone was having the 2 course special. With a white wine spritzer and coffee Cost £££ We have upgraded La Vista to Silver!
 

Revisited May 2011 2 of us popped in for lunch on a beautiful sunny day so we sat outside and enjoyed the Marina views. We also really enjoyed the 2 course lunch at £7.50 AMAZING value as the food was really good.  I had Paté & Ciabatta followed by Sea Bass fillet, cherry tomatoes and garlic sauce.  SM had Whitebait & Confit of duck, excellent!

Revisited March 2011Four of us enjoyed dinner at La Vista.  We had 2 garlic bread, 2 vegetarian pizza, 1 pasta formaggio – 3 cheese & mushroom Penne, 1 seafood linguini, 1 coffee, 5 large glasses of wine, 1 vodka & orange and the cost was £18 per head.  We enjoyed our food, the service was good but they really should do something about the loos, nothings changed since we were here 5 yrs ago! March 2007 Four of us went for a cheapy lunch prior to our Bridge afternoon! The Pino Grigio really helped with our bidding!!

Having tried various restaurants with the Telegraph tokens this was the best yet. I know the idea is to encourage new customers and this will surely do the trick.  The portions were generous, freshly cooked and very tasty too. Our starters of baked mushrooms served in a creamy cheesy garlicy sauce were yummy and our main courses were herby chicken breast served with interesting vegetables on the side. The fresh haddock was good too. Vegetarian pasta was also on the menu. The waitress was very efficient and extremely friendly and courteous. I'm going again, next time with my husband as I know he will be impressed with value for money!!  -  give it a try.

Only moan is the loo, really needs attention!

Hythe Marina is a lovely location any time of year.
