LWL Bronze Award - Awarded May 2009 - Cost £££

This well established eaterie has always been popular with the younger generation as there is dance floor and late bar at the rear of the premises.  However early evening we found it had a friendly atmosphere and a good varied menu.  We hadn't booked but as we were early there was no problem, however I would recommend booking as the restaurant area is not very big.

Our choices were a shared starter of Tandori Chicken skewers on a bed of lettuce £5.50.  Normally served with 2 skewers but as we were 3 they very kindly gave us an extra one at no extra charge!  We followed with two Caribbean Chicken Curry, £10.95 and one Tiger Prawn and Noodle Salad, £9.95.  Accompanied with a Merlot at £15.95.  Great flavours, portion size and presentation.

Report: SM

5/5 = Cannot be improved upon, 4/5 = Very good, 3/5 = Good,
2/5 = Satisfactory, 1/5 = Poor, 0/5 = Terrible

The higher the "Yummy" factor, the better the food & service. The higher the number of £ signs the more expensive. (Roughly one £ sign = £5 per head)
