It has certainly been a while since we reviewed The Green Dragon; our visit was a delicious experience and it even delighted our hard to please husbands who usually remark they would rather we cooked for them!!

Rather than our usual lunch this visit was for an early (6.30pm) dinner. They were very happy with their choices of Osso Bucco and Boeuf Bourguingnon and I enjoyed sliced Fillet Mignon with a mushroom sauce. All were served with fresh vegetables on the side.

Our desserts were all priced at £5; two of us enjoyed an excellent cheese board whilst our gentlemen chose ice creams and chocolate gateau. We shared a bottle of wine and finished with coffee.

The service was good, friendly and efficient - we will return again soon. Delighted to upgrade them to a Silver Award on this visit. Cost £££££
