The Drift Inn is attached to the well known Beaulieu Road Hotel situated in the heart of the New Forest. It was previously The Beaulieu Road Inn and it's opposite the historic Beaulieu Road Pony Sales.
 
We popped in early on a Friday evening for just one course and were able to get a table.  By the time we left it was very busy so would recommend booking.  After finding a table you place your order at the bar.  From a smallish but with good choice menu, we chose a beef chilli with sour cream, tomato salsa and nacho chips served on basmati rice £8.50.  A mushroom and cherry tomato stroganoff again with basmati rice £7.95.  Two enjoyed chicken linguine with bacon, parsley and garlic £8.50.  We all agreed generous portions and flavoursome.
 
Very friendly service, a couple of times we were asked if we wanted anymore drinks at the bar and if we enjoyed our meal.  There is a blackboard with daily specials and a childrens menu.  Opening times on their website. Dog & walker friendly.  Cost ££
