We were a large party of 17 on a jolly to Somerset - check out www.sleeps12.comto see where we were staying.   The Martlet Inn was our meeting place for lunch as we were not able to get into the 2 houses Ham Bottom and Fuzzy Orchard - again see the site - before 4p.m.

I am not going to mention everyone’s lunch choices but suffice to say we were all very pleased with the service, portion sizes and taste particularly as we were so many and were not all on time due to the different areas we were all coming from in England!

The Martlet is a Free House run by Terena, front of house and award winning Chef Bruno.  They have a daily specials board, traditional home-cooked dishes and real ale.  A function room is available for parties etc. and it has a pretty garden if you are in the area in Summer time.
