Great to find an unspoilt traditional style pub with a friendly atmosphere where home cooked food is served just at lunchtimes.  The Linden Tree is tucked away from the main road through Lowford and has a lovely back garden for when our summer arrives!

We were 5 ladies for lunch and from a choice on the daily specials board we all choose the fish pie!!  It was very yummy as had plenty of fish, served with a side salad and freshly cooked vegetables.  Well presented and cooked.  Prices range from £4 - £8 for main courses and excellent pudding choices at around £4.   We were all decidedly full from our main course so sorry no puddings were tried!   Along with coffee and a bottle of Merlot, supplied by one of the husbands, a very reasonable lunch was enjoyed by all!

They get very busy at lunchtime so a booking is advisable.   Wheelchair access would be difficult as the front door is up steps.
