We lunched here on an amazingly hot October day and so we were able to sit in their garden which would have been even more enjoyable if the tables had not been so sticky from the trees!  The system here is that you order your food at the bar & then wait for your number to come up on a TV screen.  Another irritation.......... we couldn't see the TV screen easily in the garden and had to keep getting up to keep an eye on it.  I really think they should have enough staff to deliver the food to the tables in the garden.  Having said that it is most probably the saving on staff that enables them to do such reasonable "luncheonette" specials!  All items on the menu with an * are available between 12 noon & 3 pm Mon-Fri for only £4.95, a saving on my choice of a Monterey Jack Cheese Burger of £3.00!  My burger was delicious, very moist & full of flavour.  Everyone had the specials, Club Sandwiches, massive & toasted, and Blackened Chicken Sandwiches, these were made with toasted Ciabatta.  All served with fries & salad garnish.  I think mine was the best choice, the others being a little dry.

This was a reunion of sorts & so a lot of beers & vino were drunk!  Bar staff very friendly, perhaps because they got to know us well, we were there from 1.0pm until 6.0pm!!
