I revisited Ha! Ha! on a wet/windy Tuesday 26th April 2005 with 3 Girlfriends.  The Spinnaker Tower looms overhead and the whole area is definitely worth a visit in day time as there are several eateries, shops and now the Tower !!

The menu is unusual from Figure Friendly (healthier options) to Proper Cooking (all cooked from scratch!)  Our choices were all much enjoyed and reasonably priced.  1 Char grilled Chicken and Mango Salad, l Stir-fry Teriyaki Duck Breast with crunchy Asian vegetables and crispy noodles.  A Spicy Tiger Prawn in Creamy Coconut and Satay Sauce with Thai noodles - more like a soup.  Lastly Salmon Fish Cakes served with Tomato herb and Spinach salad.

I forgot to mention, to start you must try their home-made spicy nachos with melting cheese, spring onions, fresh chilies, guacamole, spicy tomato salsa and sour cream to share whilst having your first glass of wine, it's a must !!

To finish off we shared an American Pancake stack filled with bananas, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, topped with maple syrup and chocolate sauce £4.50.  We had only 1 coffee but 2 bottles of wine £9.95 each and of course 4 G & T's.  Total averaged out at £20 per head plus tip, and we gave it 8/10.  Reported by SM.

We love Gunwharf Quays! .  Not only does it have excellent eating places but wonderful shops, what more could you want?

Lovely day so we ate outside.  You order & pay for food at the bar.  Very impressed with the service, having ordered a bottle of House White (a gluggable Italian Pinot Grigio) I was offered an ice bucket and the jug of tap water I requested was served full of ice, limes & lemons!  Very unusual and a welcome touch, we enjoyed our drinks the more for it!  We were told there was a 30 mins. delay on the food, it was 1.0pm, but it didn't seem as if we waited that long.  We appreciated that they warned us. Both the bar staff & the waitress who brought our food were friendly & smiling.

Two of us had steak sandwiches with crispy fried onions & dijon mayo.  Very tasty but I would have liked my steak medium as requested.  Third luncher had linguini with asparagus tips, sugar snaps and mint pesto with shaved parmesan, delicious.  We also ordered a portion of fat chips with Ha!Ha! tomato & pepper ketchup.  They were gorgeous, more like large slices of jacket potatoes than traditional chips.  We had an array of Ha!Ha! sauces to try & these can be purchased.  A very enjoyable lunch.

Yummy Factor 8/10

The higher the "Yummy" factor, the better the food & service.  The higher the number of £ signs the more expensive.  ( Roughly one £ sign = £5 per head )
