Visited May 2001.
Very long established old pub, famous in the area. The Lone Barn is restaurant next door.
Several of us went for pub lunch, one of the party was in a wheel chair, and perhaps it was the entry we used but was not that easy for her. If she had needed the loo would have had to have taken her all around the outside & gone in by a different door. Food was good though. Some of us had the delicious "Hot Hobs" (filled baguette), a house speciality. I had the hot gammon & melted cheese one AND they are served with chips, so God knows how many calories! The deep filled granary bread sandwiches are enormous so really good value. All had a variety of drinks.

| The higher the "Yummy" factor, the better the food & service. The higher the number of £ signs the more expensive. ( Roughly one £ sign = £5 per head ) |
