We discovered this cosy restaurant on our way
back from a long walk along the Hamble River and although it was a Sunday our
group of 14 were made very welcome for a late lunch. We were all very
impressed with the varied inexpensive menu and the service was efficient and
friendly. There was also a menu of the day which offered spit roast chicken or
roast pork which looked delicious. I enjoyed the Moules Mariniere served with French
fries for £5.95. All main meals were priced at £5.95 and the wide
choice of filled Ciabattas with French fries and salad were @ £4.75.
As we were on a healthy outing we only had soft drinks or beers!
There is plenty of outside seating and a covered
heated area so one can enjoy the views of the boats & yachts.
