Still excellent food, 4 choices of salad for only £3.95 so a favourite place to have a break in West Quay but they no longer allow smoking.  It is the decision of the shopping centre, & I have to say it was not nearly so busy as a consequence!

Cafe Giardino is one of the food outlets in West Quay Shopping centre Southampton.  A haven for weary shoppers & we normally choose this one because the sandwiches are excellent, very reasonably priced AND they have a smoking area!!!  This is very important to a certain very good friend of mine & fellow Lady Luncher SA!  Sure there are a lot of you out there that are dying for a cigarette during a lunch break so try this place.

We shared a toasted Ciabatta with chicken & spinach filling and one of the Gourmet Sandwiches of the day, a Seafood Baguette.  Both were delicious & enormous!  They also have an amazing array of fillings & different types of bread to choose from.  Both their hot dishes & the salads looked very appetising.  We'll just have to go shopping more often so we can try them all!

You have to queue as it's self service but doesn't take too long.  Very pleasant staff & it is kept clean.

We both had small Diet (!) Cokes so
