Very pleased to have found our old friends Charlotte and Mike (they used to be at Brading Yacht Club)! As soon as we heard they had taken over The Boat House we booked a table for Sunday lunch.
The Cafe/Restaurant is about 15mins walk from Yarmouth harbour along the coastal path to Fort Victoria. It has, for me, the perfect position right on the beach, we ate our delicious roast sirloin of beef with the sea almost lapping at our feet!
Our meat and Yorkshire pud was served with crunchy roast potatoes, new potatoes, cauliflower, mange tout, beans, peas and a sauce boat of extra gravy. Very yummy, and just like a home roast.
We spoke to some fellow sailors and they had enjoyed an excellent breakfast earlier that day.
The wines were good value and we had 2 individual bottles of red. The roasts were only £6.95 each. The Boat House is well worth a visit.
