We were greeted by Josephine the new owner who suggested the house white; Le Lesc Colombard which was light and refreshing. The accompanying complimentary cashews and olives went down very well whilst we studied the light lunch menu. We chose The Ham Hock terrine (to share), Sautéed Wild mushrooms on toasted Sour Dough, Smoked Haddock & Chive fishcake. each dish was £5.50 - quite reasonable.

At the moment the menu for lunch is fairly small but a good selection and their full menu will be available in the coming weeks. There is a larger evening menu. Mains £8.50 - £15.00
This is a charming old building, I believe it used to be a port cellar, so lots of old beams and cosy corners for dining.
