Visited February 2006

During my visit to Sherbourne I asked a local where to lunch and this was her recommendation.  It has opened since I was last here.  A very attractive restaurant, light and spacious. We tried the Fish Cake with wine sauce, salad & chips(£6.50) and The Roasted Red Pepper & Mozzarella Tartlet with vegetable Crisps and salad (£8.50). Sadly we were rather disappointed as we found it rather overrated for the price. The tartlet couldn't have been smaller and for £8.50 rather poor value.  Service was basic and would have been better had a selection of breads been offered; there was obviously a staff shortage as no one was around when needed them. We didn't stay for dessert - just paid and left.

The higher the "Yummy" factor, the better the food & service.  The higher the number of £ signs the more expensive.  ( Roughly one £ sign = £5 per head )
