This was yet another recommendation from the Guest Book, we do try & visit all of your suggestions! It was a bit of a disappointment because we were the only three in there (a sort of business lunch) so not exactly atmospheric but the retro decor is attractive & the staff friendly. We will definitely visit again in the summer as they have a roof terrace which, judging from the pics on their web site, looks very attractive, a wonderful venue on a sunny day. They are the same company as The Lizard Lounge which is downstairs & apparently serves the same menu, we should have gone down there, more company!

Our choices were a Tuna Nicose Salad, on left, good flavours, tuna steak very moist, Homemade Burger & Fries, tasty. 3rd choice & good for veggies, an Oven Baked Tomato stuffed with honey, chilli, & couscous, chargrilled aubergine with lime steak & coriander dressing.

We all had Lemon & Ginger Cheese cake as it was the only pud available. I had a coffee & we had two glasses of wine & a soft drink with our meal. The full menu is on their web site. Love the idea of their Tapas Platters to share as a starter or just to have with a drink, you can choose from Mediterranean, Vegetarian or Land & Sea |
