Last time we came here I was carried away with all the home made cakes, now they have enlarged the restaurant (it used to be called a tea rooms) & the choice of lunch dishes seems to have expanded. There is also a chalk board with daily specials.

I chose the
quiche of the day which was crab & my friend chose a bacon & brie
one. Both served with a choice of bread rolls, salad with a choice
of dressing & cole slaw. They were delicious & obviously
home made. We had a glass of wine each. Couldn't believe that
I was so full I couldn't manage any of the cakes although I don't think
they had such a large choice as last time I was here!
The atmosphere is cosy, comfortable seating, they have a conservatory & it looks like there will outside seating for the summer. It is possible to book & would recommend you do for a larger party, it was busy. Staff very friendly, good service. There is also a farm shop selling lots of delicious items & a gift shop. Well worth some browsing time. We will definitely return! |
